Cignomoro 80 Vecchie Primitivo is red wine , made from 100% Primitivo grapes.
A dark red color in the glass. A complex and fine scent of cinnamon and tobacco in combination with cocoa, coffee and overripe fruit. This Italian wine is very jammy on the palate with flavors of vanilla and chocolate in the aftertaste.

In Puglia, at Cignomoro, it is very consciously about making good choices. The Puglia region was chosen and the right vineyards and the matching grapes for this area were selected. The choice for this method comes from time immemorial and is a family tradition that passes from generation to generation.

Vinification and terroir Cignomoro 80 Vecchie Primitivo

This red wine is made from ripe healthy grapes and are then crushed and fermented. This is done in small containers at a uniform and regulated temperature. This is followed by soaking on the peels for more than a month.

The maceration takes place in stainless steel tanks. The aging is approximately 12 months in new and second passage medium-toasted French and American oak barriques. The bottle then matures for another 4 months in the cellars
