Kopke 20-Years Old

Kopke 20-Years Old is a long-matured Tawny Port from the famous Port House Kopke. Due to the maturation, the Port acquires an abundance of beautifully matured flavors. Think of nutty notes, with dark fruit, tutti frutti and stewed fruit. Kopke 20-Years Old is ideal as a gift wine .

Serving tip Kopke 20-Years Old

Transfer the wine to a decanter to remove the deposit. This can be done through a tea strainer or by carefully pouring out the bottle and avoiding the last bit.

Storage advice

Since this Port is 20 years old , it is ready to drink, but it can still be kept with proper conservation.

Information about the winery

Kopke Port was founded in 1638 by Cristiano Kopke.
Because Kopke is the oldest wine company in Portugal, it has a great international reputation.
After a terrible fire destroyed the building in 1882, not everything is known about the past of this famous winery.
Since 1953, the current management has done everything possible to uphold Kopke's name.
The Ports marketed all over the world. As tradition dictates, the cellars of Kokpe are located in Entreposto de Gaia.
The Ports are matured in wooden barrels under the best conditions.

QUINTA SÃO LUIZ

Kopke's Quinta São Luiz is located on the left bank of Douro.
In the middle between Regua and Pinhão, the domain can be counted as one of the most beautiful Port houses in the region.
Because many people visit the series at Colheita Port and Knowing Vintage Port, the winery also has a great reputation in the Netherlands.
